STUDENT POLICIES

Pre-registration is required for all classes. You may register online or by telephone. Please note that pre-registration is not official, for some classes, until payment is received. Registration is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis and some classes may reach maximum enrollment before the registration deadlines. Walk-in registrations will be accepted if the class has openings after all students that have pre-registered are accommodated.

Classes depend on student participation. We reserve the right to cancel classes with low enrollment. We will make every effort to notify pre-registered students of changes or cancellations. If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or you may choose to transfer to another class, provided space is available. A student must attend 100% of the class in order to receive a course certificate and licensing credit.

You may transfer to another class, two-days prior to the start of the class. You may withdraw your registration and receive a refund, only if your refund request is received in writing 30-days prior to a Cruise class, or 14-days prior to a classroom class. We will deduct a processing fee of 10%, from all refunds. Written refund requests must state the student’s name, e-mail address, the title of the class for which the refund is requested and the scheduled class date.

We do not share student information with any party other than the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth, Bureau of Commercial Services, Licensing Division. All credit card payment information entered through this web site, is done through the credit card service company portal and is subject to their encryption and privacy policies. Active Education LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for the entry of your credit card payment information.
